Karina - Instructor

Karina

Instructor

Karina’s love for movement began in her hometown of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. When she was six years old she would accompany her mother to her Ashtanga classes where she would sit on the sidelines & watch everyone breathe in synchronicity. At age fourteen she took part in her first 30 day Bikram Yoga challenge – this was the first time she felt like she was a part of a community. Once in high school Karina began classically training in ballet, jazz, contemporary & modern dance, eventually leading to graduate from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts. After three years dancing professionally in San Diego, Karina was reintroduced to the Yoga Collective. Now more than ever she feels the need to serve by guiding people to live a life in an awakened state of being.

Angelina

Instructor

Angelina was first introduced to yoga in 2011 during her time playing professional volleyball in Spain. When Angelina moved to California in 2013, she started taking hot yoga classes after work and found that to be fulfilling and life-changing. It created a greater awareness of self: mind and body.

She completed 200 Hour RYT in 2019 and is registered through Yoga Teacher Alliance. After completing teacher training, although not initially intended, she immediately felt inspired to share what she had learned about yoga philosophy and movement. Taking her classes will leave you feeling ascended, balanced and centered.

When not teaching yoga, Angelina continues to work as board certified behavior analyst for children and adults with autism and specializes in parent training for parents and caregivers. She incorporates principles of behavior change to her yoga teachings. As a teacher she facilitates positive, socially significant change that you can measure and observe. Her experience as an athlete, allows her classes to include the perfect balance of strengthening and stretching.

Ari F.

HIIT Instructor

I have been involved in fitness and played sports for almost all of my life. When I went to college, I studied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy and played rugby at SDSU. I played rugby professionally for a couple of years for the San Diego Legion and now play semi-professionally.

After college, I worked at a physical therapy clinic for 3 years and helped rehabilitate everyone from Drew Brees to young athletes to your everyday mom-and-pop. From there, I have been running my own personal training business for the last two and a half years. What I love most about training is the reward and growth I see when working with people on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis and watching their growth and progress.

Taylor B.

Yoga Instructor – Twilight Yoga Flow

My practice began at a local studio in the downtown area of Columbus. I fell in love with the community, the yoga practice, and the mindfulness it taught me. I was immediately hooked and thirsty for more knowledge.

I am now RYT 200-hour certified and have completed training to teach Trauma Sensitive classes. I am a forever student, continuously questioning and exploring. I have a playful teaching and flow style and am always jamming to some groovy, easy-listening house tunes!

When I’m not teaching or practicing yoga, you will likely find me having a dance party with my friends, traveling the world and embracing new cultures, adventuring outdoors, or cocooning under a blanket and eating all the snacks I can get my hands on!

I always encourage myself and my students to take themselves at least 15% less seriously on and off the mat. Let’s move and groove together!
